Matthew Tuffield, Cuban Construction (Black and White 2019)
In the past few years I have had the amazing opportunity to travel overseas and see some incredible things. During these adventures, I would use long exposure techniques to capture some beautiful landscapes and architecture. This year I travelled, for the first time, to Cuba for my brother’s wedding. This country opened up a whole new place and lifestyle I have never seen before; and in that same breath, I hoped it would open its doors to a new world of photographic opportunities. This portfolio shows some of the buildings and architecture styles that reside within Cuba; my favourite being the towering concrete José Martí Memorial.
