Kate Snow, Dance of the Wildflowers (ANIMAL & NATURE 2024)

The white bells of the Snowdrops ring. The yellow tassels of the Scaly Button fly. The red skirt of the Poppy spins. And the Creamy Stackhousia flower twirls, the curve of the flowers and bow of the stem flowing with delicate grace, making it seem the plant is caught in the midst of a fragrant dance. All flowers were photographed in bushland near Canberra, created using focus stacking of images at f/2.8 taken at the same location, time and exposure.
