Lucca Rodriguez Amorim, Daytime Adventures (Animal & Nature 2021)

Typically nocturnal, Flying Foxes occasionally go on daytime adventures as they prepare to draw the blinds and sleep off into the sunlit hours. Here they perform all sorts of activities as getting a last sip of water, huddling together, socializing, or even reproducing. However, after the usual routine, the Flying-Foxes will finally wrap themselves and snooze off into a deep sleep. In the first picture, a Grey-headed Flying Fox descends upon the water's edge for a quick sip of water before settling down. The second image displays a group of Little Red Flying Foxes huddled together as they gathered for the day's rest. The third photo is a portrait of a curious Grey-headed Flying Fox surveilling the area the last time before sleeping. Finally, the last image showcases a pair of Grey-headed Flying Foxes tucked away as the first drops of rain start pouring down.
