David Langley, Descendants of the Black Watch (People and Portrait 2017)
This 31 October marks the Centenary of the great Charge on Beersheba by the Australian Light Horse. 100 years on and the Indigenous soldiers that were part of the Light Horse Regiments that saw action in the Sinai-Palestine conflicts are receiving their due acknowledgement. These pictures are from a ceremony / orientation in the lead-up to a group of descendants of Indigenous Light Horse troopers who fought in the Middle East during WW1, who are traveling to Beersheba, Israel, for the official Centenary Commemoration Ceremonies.
