Peter von der Groeben, Dune Shade (March Theme: Above)

This photograph was taken during the harsh mid-day sun, right in the centre of Moreton Island's Big Sand Dunes. The dunes had covered and later the sun had bleached, and the wind had blasted some of the Cypress Island Pines which are now standing like ghostly sentinels. I wanted this photograph to capture the eerie feeling. I hope you enjoy.
