Amber King, Earth Guardians (B&W 2021)

Earth Guardians Valley of the Shadows- Lord Howe Island The massive Banyan Trees on Lord Howe Island stretch for the sky and create some of the most impressive canopy I have ever experienced. Some of their roots cover a hectare of land and their roots create an impressive tapestry and woven playground for the array of birdlife of the island. I have converted the photos from vibrant greens and blue sky to a black and white brooding landscape, one that befits the area that they call home “Valley of the Shadows”.
