Belinda Holmes, Forgotten Tracks (Landscape 2021)

Whilst driving on a road I’ve never travelled before, I came across a country regional town called Rossi situated in the locality of Queanbeyan-Palerang Region of NSW. As I drove through this nearly abandoned town, I imagined it was a hive of activity in its day however now a mere shadow of its past. Barely giving any signs of the bygone era of the bustling township, which saddens me to witness now an almost ghost town of our history. These forgotten train tracks encapsulates a reminder of our past.
