Carole Mills Noronha, Gabra layers. (TRAVEL 2024)

Women of the Gabra tribe in Northern Kenya. They live in the Chalbi Desert in extremely harsh conditions. Predominantly Sunni Muslims, they wear brightly coloured and decorative fabrics and live nomadically with their herds of camels. They are beautiful, resilient and welcoming.
