Ben Watts, Garden Dreams (People 2021)

As a predominantly landscape photographer, I tried to dip my toes into the world of portraiture in an attempt to illicit the same emotions that I endeavour to portray through the beauty of the natural world. I feel this can be realised through expression, mood and contrast. These portraits were stripped back to black and white to allow for timeless and evocative images without the distraction of colour, and encapsulate emotions that we all feel inside ourselves at times.
