Hugh Elbourne, Gentle Giant (SINGLE SHOT 2024)

The Tasmanian Echidna differs from its mainland relatives in that it is less spiny, and has more pronounced 'ears' of tufted fur around the face. This friendly face was very curious to look at my lens.
