Graham Earnshaw, Gliding Through the Neverland (Single Shot 2019)

On my trip last November through the Great Southern region of Western Australia, I stopped by to visit the famous Lake Dumbleyung (was still full of water due to the massive rains in Jan-2017). This is an aerial image of the lake, with a small group of pelicans slowly wandering through the many dead gum trees still standing tall around the lake. I processed the image in B&W and darkened the lake to really make the starkness of the barren trees stand out, given it quite a surreal feel.
