Beneath the oil rich façade of the Persian Gulf States old traditional skills can still be found in the old quarters of the cities and villages. A lady making traditional bread over a gas hotplate, a silversmith utilizing crude equipment to produce fine necklaces and leatherworkers sat for hours crafting their wares, skills that are all but lost to mass production.
