Rosco Waraker, Hunter and Prey (Animal & Nature 2021)

A Nankeen Kestrel uses a light onshore wind to it’s advantage, searching for prey along the shores of Botany Bay. Suddenly it spotted something and dived, disappearing from view. The Kestrel soon returned overhead with an Eastern Water Skink. From there it was a quick flight back to feed the nearby chicks located in a scape on the cliffs.
