JUNGYOOK PARK, ICE-land (LANDSCAPE 2024)

The glaciers stood timeless, their icy peaks glowing under the soft Icelandic light, captured perfectly through my film camera. Yet, beneath their beauty lies a slow, quiet tragedy. As I gazed at the vast expanse, the melting edges whispered of loss—the ice fading with each passing year. Polar bears, once thriving in these frozen realms, now wander further in search of shelter, their homes melting into the sea. These images, though breathtaking, hold the weight of a fragile future—a stark reminder of what we stand to lose if the ice continues to disappear.
