Nicky Tongs, IMPACT - LIFELINE (SINGLE SHOT 2024)

This photo is from a series of images that were taken from a multi-faceted perspective of an urban building that hosts a variety of Social Services and a Medical Centre. IMPACT – these Services have an impact on their community, the building has an impact on its environment. Each line depicts a community members journey of engagement with a respective Social Service. The varying shapes and colours in the image represent the diversity of the people in the community and the varying needs that they have. IMAGE 1 – IMPACT LIFELINE Social Services are perceived as providing rescue, a means of escape from difficult situations. The Community are dependant on the resources that Social Services and so reaches up to them for help.
