Sharon De Paoli, Impala at the waterhole (Single Shot 2021)

This was taken at reserve bordering Kruger National Park. It was very early morning and so peaceful but unbeknown to this group of impala a young leopard was watching them, waiting for his time to pounce. When he did, he totally misjudged his jump and landed in the water, by the time he had collected himself the impala were long gone.
