Jane Willis, ISOLATION (Single Shot 2021)

It was a difficult time for my home area of the Mid North Coast during the March floods 2021. In some areas it was hard to see where the river had a beginning and an end, water was all you could see where the land once was. This photo was taken from a bridge over where paddocks normally are as far as the eyes can see. Our communities may have been isolated as this tree, but in the end we were never alone.
