Annette Scott, Jabiru's Lunch (ANIMAL & NATURE 2020)

Last year, while visiting Fraser Island Queensland, I came upon a Jabiru hunting for his lunch. I became curious as to what he would find in the low tide swamp area near Waddy point, so I watched for a while. To my surprise, as he was digging around in the weeds he pulled out this small eel, from then on, it was a struggle for survival that the eel eventually lost
