Warren Hicks, Karijini NP (Landscape 2021)
I recently spent a week or so at Karijini NP in WA. I have been there around 15 times in the past and have usually done the tourist walks and taken some fantastic images, but this time I was able to find some free camping just outside of the national park where I could warm by a fire of an evening. As the sky is almost always clear during the dry season, I wanted to get some images with stars. It was too light for milky way photography (moon was out) so I experimented a bit with using the light from the camp fire in a couple of the images to provide more impact.
