graham earnshaw, Karijini (Black and White 2017)
In September, I was fortunate enough to take some time off for a bit of a road trip up to the NW of Western Australia, travelling up the coast from Perth to Broome and then back down inland, including spending 3 days at the stunning Karijini National Park, in the Pilbara. It was truly so awe-inspiring to walk through the amazing gorges in Karijini, each gorge having its own different mood, beauty and of course challenges (the spider walk through Hancock Gorge is so daunting but so exhilarating). I've entered 4 of my images of Karijini here, taken in two of my favourite gorges, Hamersley and Hancock (some of my other images are in the Landscape section). I certainly do hope to get back there to spend a lot more time enjoying this truly wonderful landscape.
