Luke Mackenzie, Kashmir Unveiled (TRAVEL 2023)

In Australia we’re told not to travel to certain destinations - Kashmir being one of those. I wanted to go and capture the area to show the beauty and culture around Kashmir and to see the landscapes I’d heard so much about. I traveled through the mountains from Ladakh into the Kashmir region and then down into Srinagar. Along the way I captured the moments as I saw them, from Nomads trekking across glaciers, to wild horses in the mountains, then down into the city of Srinagar, traveling around on a shikara boat through their floating houses and then on to see the locals at the floating markets for sunrise.
