Mohan Swaminathan, Kindred Spirits (PEOPLE 2024)

Sue is from China and Kamakshi is from India. Sue doesn't know English and Kamakshi doesn't know Chinese. But they connected as Kindred Spirts and were always delighted to meet each other and there was spontaneous exchange of feelings of happiness and sadness between them. They just understood each other and connected in spirit like sisters. These photos convey that spontaneity of feelings & connection when together. Thus the title "Kindred Spirits". Kamakshi sadly passed away in June 2024 and Sue is grieving her lost kindred spirit. Kamakshi is my dear mother.
