Mark Hamilton, Kites' Eye View (AERIAL 2023)

Taken at Adelaide International Kite Festival 2023, Semaphore Beach, South Australia. Kite flyers from local, interstate and overseas are invited to fly. Takes place over 3days at Easter long weekend. These are kite aerial photography images, meaning they were taken by a camera suspended below a kite. No Drone required! The camera is triggered by an intervalometer, set to take a shot every 5 seconds. I cannot see what I'm photographing, I concentrate on flying my large delta kite, positioning the camera where I want it. The camera is mounted on a homemade rig, which can be adjusted to different positions. FUJI XM-1 body with Fujinon 16-50mm and Samyang fisheye lens.
