Lesley Bretherton, Lake Timboram (AERIAL 2024)

Through my lens, I seek to capture the surreal beauty of the Mallee salt lakes, revealing the harmony between earth and sky. The abstraction created by height allows the lakes to appear both familiar and alien, inviting viewers to reimagine their connection to nature. My goal is to evoke a sense of wonder and contemplation, highlighting the natural artistry present in these unique environments. Viewed from above these vast, flat expanses transform into ethereal tapestries, where nature paints with delicate pastel hues.
