Explorimg Lofoten in summer, you quickly run out of superlatives. Around every corner is another incredible view, the sky is ever-changing from blue, to misty, to threatening clouds and back to blue again. There are wild flowers growing in every available space, including on many rooftops, the. water is clean and clear and everywhere, there is the backdrop of jagged, rocks, providing shelter for tiny fishing villages. We are so used to associating Norway with snow against the Northern Lights, but try a visit during the summer, with its 24hour light and its unbelievable scenery!
