Matthew Barrett, LOOK UP! (Landscape 2021)

Over the course of the past year, I have been travelling around NSW looking to capture the night sky in all its glory. The small series of images are a selection of the best photos out of a large collection that I feel best represents the beauty of the Milky Way and stars that can be seen all around NSW. The experience of taking these photos has been a real eye opener into how precious this world is and how important it is to preserve all its environments. The serenity and peacefulness that the night sky radiated towards me was something truly incredible to feel and has changed the way I view many things in life.
