Marika Oost, Masquerade Melt (Creative 2021)

Created in a moment of deep self reflection. The awareness that under intense scrutiny the different masks I wear in my daily life melt together, morphing until not even I can disseminate the difference between them. Then the question remains…why do I feel the need to wear a mask at all.
