Carole Mills Noronha, Memory Bank (PEOPLE 2022)
My father is 90 years old. He suffers from Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer's. He spends most days in his Aged care room. Bit by bit he forgets everyday life. How to eat, swallow and speak. He is beginning to lose words. I never know when it's the last time a certain word will pass his lips or if he'll be able to even complete a sentence. I've started documenting parts of our conversations. His precious spoken words. Creating a 'Memory Bank' before his speech is forever lost.
