Christine Walliss, Mental and Lunatic Asylum (BLACK & WHITE 2020)

Mayday Hills is situated in Beechworth , Victoria. These 67 buildings have architectural significance. This establishment operated for some 128 years, with 1200 patients and 500 staff and closed down in 1995, it had many names such as ;- Beechworth Hospital for the Insane. Mayday Hills Mental Hospital and Mayday Hills Lunatic Asylum. Today this complex is a very popular tourist attraction, especially the Asylum Ghost Tours conducted at night.
