Max Maujean, Milkyway Moonset (Single Shot 2021)
After working out that the moon would set at around 2.45am and that the Milky Way galaxy would also be setting right above the moon at that time, I headed to a local beach at this crazy hour to try and capture both in one shot. The light pollution behind me worked in my favour giving a nice glow on the ocean whilst everything else lined up perfectly as the moon turned into an orange ball upon setting. This image consists of multiple identical shots stacked for noise reduction.
