Christine Goerner, Moments in Stone Town (TRAVEL 2020)

In the streets of Stone Town, Zanzibar, various scenes caught my eye – of moments in the day of each of these children. A boy looks pensive as he waits by a market stall. A girl in traditional hijab and delicate lace dress, looks almost angelic in contrast to the typical dark, derelict building where she stands in a doorway. While other boys exchange glances with me as they walk through the alleyways.
