Blair Caldwell, Moring fog in the city (LANDSCAPE 2024)

The view from Mt Coot-tha lookout of Brisbane blanketed in fog is always amazing. Thick fog occasionally rolls in very early in the morning, illuminated in parts from underneath by suburban lights, and the tops of the city building's in the distance poking out. There's a calming sense of isolation felt being here. A stark contrast to the hustle and bustle that lies beneath. First light then starts to appear on the horizon, now slowly illuminating the blanket of fog from above and starting to cast the building's into silhouettes. The lookout soon becomes a popular spot with many people arriving to see and capture the foggy sunrise.
