Helen Holdsworth, Morton Island (Travel 2017)

Just 75 minutes from Brisbane, this island provides a wonderful escape from reality with pristine beaches and amazing snorkeling among the purpose sunken shipwrecks of Tangalooma. I wanted my photos to showcase the colour and texture of the ocean as well as show detail from the wrecks. But overall I wanted to present a feeling of relaxation without flattening a scene. I hope these photos bring you a sense of peace as well as adventure.
