Matthew Sherren, Mount Gingera (Single Shot 2021)

With outdoor restrictions eased I escaped the six week lockdown in Canberra venturing out to the far reaches of Namadgi National Park toward Mount Gingera. It was a short afternoon trip with a four hour outdoor exercise time limit for the 14km return hike. With the short timeframe it became a bit of a sprint to arrive at a composition I was happy with. But with enough indecision and adjustments I arrived at the final image just in time for the light to peak on the mountain.
