Angela Siejka, Mrs Hunt's Cottage and her trees (B&W 2022)
It was wild & wet , stormy & moody, the day I visited Maria Island,Tasmania. These trees have been shaped over many years by the constantly buffeting winds of East Coast Tasmania.Their roots have survived and seen much history...convict life, industrial life, farm life & now...tourism life .The infra red editing brought so much more life into these gorgeous old & frail trees. I feel that they will survive hundreds more years and see many more changes on their island.
