Kate Dew, Mt Barney, Scenic Rim, Queensland (LANDSCAPE 2022)

In January 2022 two friends and I decided to hike into Mount Barney National Park to watch the sunrise. We left Brisbane at 3am, with some light rain we started hiking up steep hills, only to walk straight back down. Up and down, up and down. We repeated this numerous times until we came to an opening and in awe, we watched the sunrise over Mount Barney. One of those pinch yourself moments, high into the mountains with the sun breaking through the clouds.
