Peter Ogden, My Backyard (B&W 2024)
Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park, just a 20-minute drive from home, is named after the Guringai people, the traditional custodians of the land on which the park sits. It is an incredible place, and it has helped our family through many ups and downs - it gave us an escape into nature during the COVID lockdowns, fun bushwalks with the kids when they had too much screen time and is my photography muse. In mono, it becomes a magical realm where anything seems possible. That otherworldliness seems even more apparent in the morning mist - the shorelines, rocks, paths and trees are something to behold.
