Lois Roberts, National Gallery of Art Canberra - Externally (LANDSCAPE 2024)

Organised a trip to visit the national capital in the ACT to view the current wintertime Gauguin exhibition. Surprise to find what our national city is like in the depth of winter months. Fog gloom depression all round. It was easy to take atmospheric photos in this atmosphere of fog and gloom - with the end piece a visit to the golden warmth of the Gauguin's (some of which appeared to be within our own South Pacific) It was a golden opportunity to witness and note the sepulchral whites of our earliest capital city designers or foundation cultural leaders there.
