Cassandra McMahon, Necklaces at 3700m above sea level (TRAVEL 2023)

I had the most wonderful encounter with this lady on my acclimatisation hike out of Namche Bazaar. I saw her on the way up to Sagarmantha Next, an art gallery, that uses the rubbish left behind on the mountains to create stunning works of art. She just had this aroura about her. So, on the way back down we stopped and bought bracelets from her and spoke to her for a little about the materials that she uses. I asked for her photo and when I showed her, she gave me the warmest hug. I tell everyone that she felt like my Nepalese Grandma.
