Nowhere for most people. Home for those who live there. For the many towns and outposts in outback Australia life can be fairly quiet. You take small pleasures where you can. You make your own fun. You fashion what you need out of whatever you have. There are no flashing lights. Not even a traffic light. You tend to spend a lot of time sitting, watching and thinking - when you're not working in searing hot temperatures in summer and freezing cold mornings in winter. Still, most residents wouldn't swap it for quids.
