Rosemary Oldis, Of Galaxies And Bushfires (Single Shot 2019)

After heading to the High Country to capture a Milky Way image, I noticed that the sky had a smoky haze and in the distance there was a red glow. The sensitive sensor picked up what my eyes couldn't- the menacing colours of a distant bushfire. The glow of the galaxy above mingled with the glow from the fires below to create a special sky.
