Kathy Brown, Old Man (ANIMAL & NATURE 2024)

A rather tired and old looking red kangaroo looking a little worse for wear resting in a little shade on a hot day, being bothered by the many flies and a coat infused with prickles and burs. The harsh outback environment proves to be difficult for even the wildlife to get comfortable. Captured in Gundabooka state conservation area near Bourke, NSW north west.
