Saskia Granger, Out On a Limb (Wildlife and Animal 2019)

This series of photos was produced over a period of several months. I wanted to capture the birds in their natural environment, but show restraint by allowing their colours and body shapes to tell their stories. The challenge was finding the right birds, in the right settings, with weather conditions that were consistent across all four photographs.
