Kerry Lorimer, People of the Pinnacles (Landscape 2021)

Everywhere I looked in the Pinnacles Desert, I imagined people emerging from the limestone pillars, which tower up to 3.5m high. In the surreal light of an amazing sunset, many looked like they were robed like ancient druids, priests or nuns, presiding over a benediction for the broad plain of stone parishioners.
