Lyn Forbes, Playing with Macro (Wildlife and Animal 2019)

A back operation in May forced me into table top photography until I became more mobile. It was an ideal opportunity to practise using my new macro lens. I experimented with flowers, trying to be creative by taking unusual shots. I really enjoyed the experience. I would often find a small creature on a flower which then became a target for my photos too. The four photos entered were taken with my macro lens. I found it difficult to select the floral images as I liked them all. The spider photo was an easy selection. He was such a little character as he kept leaping onto the camera. Through the macro lens he was enormous, but in reality, he was very tiny.
