Not all heroes wear capes. The combined efforts of local firefighters. The black hawk helicopter water dumping from the air and the rural brigade on the ground. Protecting homes, wildlife, vegetation and all that lay in the fast moving grassfires path. The swift response minimising fire damage and preventing further catastrophes. The brave firefighters at the frontline in facing the fires head on to protect our communities and our beloved Australian Landscape.
