Kaptai which is one of the most beautiful lakes in Bangladesh. Although Kaptai is primarily known as the largest hydroelectric generating station in Bangladesh, its main attraction is its lake. The natural beauty of this lake can be seen in its original form during winter and monsoon season. Its full beauty can be enjoyed during monsoons when the sky is overcast. Then the people living around the lake catch fish from the lake in boats or steamers and this fishing is their source of livelihood.
