Kian McLaren, Red Bird (September Theme: Birds)

This is a male Australian King Parrot. It was perched on a branch several meters away looking at me - it did not seem to be very afraid of people. With this photo, I attempted to focus on the face of the bird, to try and capture a sense of intelligence.
