SCOTT KRISTIAN KELLEHER, REVELATIONS OVER THE RIVER KWAI (TRAVEL 2024)

July this year I travelled to Kanchanaburi as homage to my Grandfather whom survived the WWII Death Railway as a P.O.W. some 80 years earlier. It is said that for every sleeper laid there was a life lost. This series depicts The Bridge Over The River Kwai (Khwae Noi), a major part of this still in use piece of rail engineering marvel. The Burma-Siam railway was once 250 miles of railway constructed by Allied prisoners alongside forced Asian labourers under Japanese Occupation.
