Louise Faulkner, Rorschach cloud III (CREATIVE 2022)

Referencing Rorschach inkblots, this image is part of a series re-examining cloudscapes. In “Rorschaching” my cloud photographs, new and intriguing images are created, often beautiful, even calming in their symmetry. I am fascinated by what can be seen when cloudscapes are manipulated this way. For me, such images usually lead to contemplations of the femininity of nature, of creation itself. Given Rorschach inkblots are a psychological test, what does this say about me? And what can you see?
